Lesotho Women’s cricket continues to rise, and a new young star has firmly announced herself on the international stage.

Fifteen-year-old sensation Boitumelo Tlali delivered a match-winning all-round performance to guide Lesotho to a thrilling victory over Zambia in the BCA Kalahari Tournament.
In what was only her second cap for the national team, the Soofia International School learner showed composure beyond her years.

Tlali’s outstanding display earned her the Player of the Match accolade, underlining her immense potential and bright future in the sport.

The match, played on 7 April 2026, saw Lesotho post a competitive 54/2 in 7 overs. Zambia responded with 53/6 in their 20 overs, falling just short as Lesotho secured victory by 8 wickets in a tense encounter.

Tlali’s contribution stood out as she impressed with both bat and ball, proving herself a true all-rounder and a valuable asset to the team. Her performance not only inspired her teammates but also highlighted the strength of emerging youth talent in Lesotho cricket.
